I've been thinking about creating this blog for some time now.
With music in the center I will present known and unknown artist that I listen to, give a sample of what they sound like and, whenever I find it suiting, give a couple of more listening recommendations. My thought is that the artist selection on the blog should be qualitative rather than quantitative and compensate the narrow selection within genres by covering a lot of them. To make it a bit more personal I will sometimes add an anecdote about how I came in contact with the songs or why I think it's good music.
I will start off by recommending the artist Four tet who creates soft experimental electronic music that is very different from, hm, everything else made.

Also check out Fridge's latest album, the DJ Kicks mix album (which gives clues to many of his influences) and his releases together with jazz drummer Steve Reid!
Sorry about the late reply, I've been busy the last couple of days... I've listen to some of the tunes you recommended but not enough to give you my opinion. Will have to sit down and listen to the albums once more asap...
