Today's artist: Estelle

Estelle became famous with the song 1980 in the year 2004 but since then it has been rather quiet around her. This month, she's releasing her 2nd full-length cd with a couple of great tracks.

The music is soft well-produced RnB which reminds me of Lauryn Hill, especially the track No substitute love. Estelle has managed to bring on a whole bunch of guest appearances from hip hop artists like Kanye West and Kardinal Offshall. My guess is that you will hear Estelle a lot on the radio this spring and summer.

I've been thinking about checking out Estelle for a while but with the new Atmosphere album just dropping it will just have to wait!

Poserdonut - notorious slacker. Yeah, I guess 2 albums 14+14 songs is just too much to handle right? ;)
